On National Nonprofit Day, we want to recognize a cause that is deeply personal to the Diener family.
The Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation was created to honor Seth Diener’s sister, Lisa, and to continue her compassion and commitment to helping women and families affected by domestic violence.
Since its founding, the foundation has supported organizations serving survivors and their families through financial contributions, urgent-needs drives, care packages, children’s resources, shelter support, and other meaningful initiatives. That includes annual urgent-needs drives for local women’s shelters in Bucks and Montgomery counties, collecting essentials such as blankets, pillows, toiletries, toothpaste, and other everyday items for individuals leaving domestic violence situations.
For Seth and the Diener family, this work represents something much bigger than giving back. It is a way to carry Lisa’s mission forward by helping people find support, regain stability, and move toward a safer future.
Her impact continues through every organization supported, every family helped, and every person given the opportunity to begin again.
Today, we are proud to recognize the Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation and everyone who continues to carry that mission forward.

Have you ever returned from a great vacation and half-joked, “Maybe I should just live there”?
I hear versions of that every summer. For some people, the idea may be more realistic than it first appears.
Recent retirement-living guides estimate that a couple may be able to live in selected communities in Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, Costa Rica, Portugal, or Spain for roughly $1,800 to $3,200 per month, depending on the destination and lifestyle.
The monthly number is only the beginning of the conversation. Healthcare access, U.S. tax obligations, residency rules, housing, language, climate, and distance from family all deserve careful consideration.
One of the smartest approaches I have seen is to test the lifestyle before making a permanent move. Spend several weeks there. Live beyond the resort. Shop for groceries, navigate healthcare, and see how an ordinary Tuesday feels.
Retirement planning becomes more meaningful when the numbers are connected to a real place and a real way of living.
Where would you consider spending part—or all—of retirement?

Have you ever left a job and realized years later that you may still have a retirement account there?
I ask new clients about this regularly, and the answer is “possibly” more often than people expect. Careers change, life moves quickly, and old paperwork slips out of sight.
A September 2025 report from Capitalize, developed with Boston College’s Center for Retirement Research, estimated that 31.9 million forgotten 401(k) accounts held about $2.1 trillion in assets. The estimated average balance was $66,691.
A simple search can bring those accounts back into view:
1. Contact former employers and ask for the retirement plan administrator.
2. Check the National Registry of Unclaimed Retirement Benefits.
3. Search the Department of Labor’s Retirement Savings Lost and Found.
4. Review how any account you locate fits with the rest of your plan.
Finding an old account can create a clearer picture of what you have already built—and what those savings may help make possible.
Have you ever found a retirement account you had lost track of?

When people hear “financial freedom,” they often picture a number.
We picture choices.
The ability to take the trip you have been talking about for years. To help your children or create memories with your grandkids. To enjoy more of what you have worked so hard to build.
That is why we often include a fun budget in the plan.
For many people, having a defined amount set aside for travel, experiences, or something they have always wanted makes it easier to actually enjoy the money with confidence.
A strong financial plan gives those choices a framework. It helps you understand what you can enjoy today while continuing to prepare for tomorrow.
What would greater financial freedom allow you to do?

Gotta be a millionaire today to afford any of this. So many of my Senior friends are doing the doggy paddle.
One of the questions I get asked most often is,
"Am I doing enough for retirement?"
The answer is different for everyone, but there are a few retirement realities that almost everyone should understand.
Here are five retirement realities that come up in conversations with clients every day—and why they matter.
The more informed you are today, the more confident you'll be in the decisions you make tomorrow.

One of the questions I enjoy asking clients is,
"What does a great retirement look like to you?" The answer is different for everyone.
But over the years, I've noticed that many of the happiest retirees share a few common habits.
• They retire with a sense of purpose.
• They make time for family and friendships.
• They stay active—physically, mentally, and socially.
• They continue learning, growing, and exploring new interests.
• They have a financial plan that gives them the confidence to enjoy the life they've worked so hard to build.
A fulfilling retirement starts long before your last day of work. It grows from the choices you make, the relationships you invest in, and the plan that helps make it all possible.
